Great Keppel Island Hideaway offers a range of budget accommodation to suit singles, couples, families, friends and groups. Our friendly team can assist you with specific island accommodation requests for group bookings, special occasions, functions and events.
Please note that the island has no communal kitchens or public cooking facilities.

Transfers
For guests that have already booked accommodation and are looking for transfers to the island, please visit Keppel Konnections website. Bookings are essential.
Departing Keppel Bay Marina Daily there is a 7:30am, 9am and 3pm.
Departing from the island there is a 8:10am, 10am, 2pm and 4pm.

Cancellation Policy
Cancellations within 7 days of your arrival time will incur a cancellation fee equal to the non-refundable, non-transferable 50% deposit. If cancelling before the 7 day period, we will hold your 50% deposit for up to 24 months for a future holiday.

Our 3 picturesque beachfront cabins are situated directly on Putney beach and overlook the beautiful middle island. Sit on your veranda and watch the sunset over the mainland or kick back with a good book.
Amenities
All Beachfront Cabins offer basic self-catering including a full-sized fridge-freezer, toaster, kettle, microwave, electric fry pan and dining table and chairs (or picnic table & chairs outside). A separate ensuite/bathroom contains a shower, basin. All cabins include air-conditioning, and have a cool breeze throughout most of the year providing a comfortable setting in our sub-tropical climate here on Great Keppel Island.
Two of the cabins offer one bedroom, with a queen bed then two singles in the kitchenette area, one of the cabins offers two bedrooms with a queen bedroom and a top and bottom bunk bed in a walk-through bedroom to the bathroom. Linen is included (pillows, sheets, bath towels and blankets) you just require your beach towel and please note, toiletries are not included as we only supply a cake of soap.
All cabins offer an outside area with either paving or decking. Relax outside your very own tropical island accommodation for a few days or longer.

Please note that we do not supply toiletries other than a cake of soap.
All Island Cabins offer a separate queen bedroom and generally 2 singles out in the main living area. 2 Cabins offer 2 sets of bunks for those with larger families. All linen is included (sheets, pillows, blankets and bath towels). You are just required to bring your beach towel.
All cabins offer an outside area with either paving or decking. Relax outside your very own tropical island accommodation for a few days or longer.
Minimum 2 night stay in off-peak seasons.
Garden Rooms – Ensuite Motel Style

Our Garden Rooms are situated just past the baggage shed and just a minute from Putney Beach. We have 10 of these ensuite rooms, each with air-conditioning and tea/coffee facilities including a small bar fridge. Our Garden Rooms have either a queen bed, queen and single or a queen and bunk (or 2 singles).
Linen is provided (pillows, sheets, blankets and bath towel, you just need to bring a beach towel), please note we do not supply toiletries other than a cake of soap.
Whilst this accommodation option does not include self-catering facilities, it is only a short two-minute stroll to the Bar and Bistro where we offer our full meals package. This starts from lunch on arrival, main for dinner and breakfast the following morning consecutively until your day of check out.
Please note there are no cooking facilities available for this room type.
Palm Room – Ensuite Motel Style

Situated the other side of the footpath from the island cabins, we have 12 motel style, ensuite rooms, each with air-conditioning and tea/coffee facilities including a small bar fridge. Our Palm Rooms are all Queen rooms and our newer, colour bond style motel room. Linen is provided (pillows, sheets, blankets and bath towel, you just need to bring a beach towel), please note we do not supply toiletries other than a cake of soap.
Whilst this accommodation option does not include self-catering facilities, it is only a short two-minute stroll to the Bar and Bistro where we offer our full meals package. This starts from lunch on arrival, a main for dinner and breakfast the following morning consecutively until your day of check out.
This precinct is great for couples or groups who want to enjoy dining out or takeaway, as opposed to self-catering. And who wants to cook on their GKI tropical island holiday anyway!
Please note there are no cooking facilities available for this room type.
Putney Place Studio

Our Putney Place Studios rooms are located just a two-minute walk from Putney Beach. Each room has a queen bed and a sofa bed, also a small kitchenette with basic cooking facilities. These rooms have their own ensuite. You will need to bring your own toiletries as we only supply a cake of soap.
Full linen is included, so the only thing you’ll need are your togs and a beach towel.
Minimum 2 night stay during off-peak seasons.
Putney Place Studio + 1 Bedroom

A-Frame House

Just a stone’s throw from Putney beach, the rustic style A-frame house is a fully self-contained little haven. Complete with your own BBQ area and equipped kitchen, the A-frame is perfect for larger families or group visits.
With an open plan layout, the house is set over 2 floors and is made up of 3 queen sized beds and 2 singles – best suited for up to 6 guests. The lounge area is complete with comfortable sofas and a dining table, seating 6.
Full linen is included, so the only thing you’ll need are your togs and a beach towel.

Hideaway House

The Hideaway House is the perfect family getaway. With 2 air-conditioned bedrooms. One has a queen bed and the other has 2 king singles, there is a top & bottom bunk bed in the lounge area. The Hideaway House accommodates up to 6 people and features its own private courtyard, with a picnic bench for those lazy afternoon cheese platters.
With a fully equipped kitchen, guests can either self-cater or avoid the washing up by adding on the all-meals package. The Hideaway House also has a washing machine for the longer stays, please bring your own laundry detergent.
As with all of our accommodation, full linen is provided, you just need to bring your beach towels. In our accommodation, toiletries are not provided, so please bear this in mind upon packing. Please see our what to pack page for more info.
