Thank you for choosing to stay at Great Keppel Island Hideaway, our barefoot paradise apart for the Southern Great Barrier Reef.
Please note that we are not pet friendly in any accommodation. If you are found with pets in any of our accommodation, an excess cleaning fee will be charged and you will be asked to leave the accommodation immediately, any monies paid will be forfeited.
We ask guests to leave the accommodation in a similar condition to that which you found it, this includes all kitchen equipment and BBQs. All accommodation is non-smoking. Cleaning fees start at $125.00, if any further cleaning is required, extra charges will incur.
Refreshing of linen, towels and bins are changed every 4 days. If you require towels/linen before then, please see reception. Extra charges will apply i.e. $5.00 per towel.
Beach towels are available for hire from the Hideaway Reception, a holding deposit of $20.00 will be charged and $15.00 will be returned once the beach towel is returned to reception.
Room keys must be returned to reception on checkout and not left in your accommodation. Lost keys will incur a $40.00 lost key fee. Guests do not have to take a room key if they are concerned about losing them.
Great Keppel Island Hideaway has a noise curfew of 10:00pm, with no excessive noise permitted after this time. After 10:00pm, if staff receive a complaint regarding excessive noise coming from your room or if the staff in their view, feel the noise is excessive, you will receive one of two warnings. Upon a second call out to your room regarding the issue of excessive noise, you will be warned that upon a third call out we reserve the right to evict you from the premises on the grounds of violation of these House Rules. If you are evicted, any monies paid will be forfeited.
Payment Policy/Cancellation policy:
Prices are in AUD. A non-refundable, non-transferable 50% deposit is required upon booking. Full payment will need to be received 7 days prior to your arrival.
Any cancellations made within the 7 days of arrival, will automatically forfeit any monies paid. If cancelling before the 7 day period, we will hold any monies paid for up to 24 months for a future holiday.
Please ensure you have travel insurance in place. If you are unable to travel for medical reasons, weather events, flight cancellations or any other insurable event, refunds will not be given.
